My husband and I chose hotel Montalembert for location, price and tasteful decor- we were not disappointed. The staff were helpful and the service good. The bar was lovely . We were initially given a rather awful room at the back of the hotel. They changed us to a corner front room which was perfect for us.
Excellent location Parking
Room size very small A refresh would be needed... Price if the breakfast for poor quality..
Elegant hotel in quiet area. Very courteous staff. Rooms were outstanding. They were spacious and well appointed with modern amenities.
Very quiet for the centre of the city yet very close to restaurants, cafes, gardens, culture, metro etc. Large windows that opened onto old buildings and a courtyard and all we could hear was singing from the nearby church The staff were very helpful and welcoming.
Room was a bit small and the door was very difficult to unlock!
It is our second time. Great location for a mutch better price than the champ elysse hotels. Still a 5 star boutique hotel. Concierge and hotel staff very attentive and knowledgable
Very clean hotel Close to rue du back metro station
Very small room
A fantastic hotel and stunning location for enjoying the left bank. Staff excellent and very helpful when needed. I could not fault the hotel at all. We had a super 3 night stay there.
Great location, great staff, the service of a palace without the cost.
Rooms are a bit small.
The room is almost too small for two people and two mid size bags- we were tripping over each other
Location, good service, kind staff, clean.
Had to change room, because room smelled of smoke. Only third room shown did not smell of smoke.
We asked to be upgraded, and for a hefty price with no breakfast (anpthee hefty chargw) they gave us a junior suite at the top (no lift to the 8th floor). The room (two very small spaces) , was unconfortable and absolutely not suitable actually dangerous for tall people; antiquated shower system; centrl heating did not work but they were kind enough to provide a small heater. Good views though. Very very limited communal spaces
The staff was excellent and the conceirge very helpful in getting us reservations at restaurants and museums and taxis when necessary. Our room was very nice and a decent size for a Parisian hotel. The bathroom was clean, well appointed and contemporary in design. The evening "turn down" was a very nice touch and made us feel very well cared for. The small elevators were quick and quiet and our morning room service punctual and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.
It was hard to shut out some of the street noise at night, but I guess that is because the hotel is boutique and facing the street so our windows opened out onto a balcony. I would never trade that experience, even for a quieter room. How many hotels do you know of in nyc or anywhere that have french doors opening onto a balcony??
.Front desk provided excellent service. Like at the Four Seasons Hotels where we usually stay
Everything was excellent except the fact that there is no fitness facility. You should have a formal arrangement with Hotel Pont Royal to use their facility automatically
That the restaurant menu was larger.
The design renovations of about 10 years ago have not been well maintained. Light fixtures were broken, bathroom faucets leaked and there was black mold around the rim of the tub. The toilet access panel was misaligned and dirty. The electrical outlet in living room was crooked. The "superior" room we were first placed in was so small that you couldn't walk around the bed. The suite was more spacious but the charges were considerably more. For that money we should have stayed in the Four Seasons. I liked this hotel from a stay a few years back. Even though the service people were very nice, I don't think that we will stay there again.
